Risin og Kellingin ("the Giant and the Hag") are two rock columns just of the coast north of Eiši. Legend says that once upon a time, the giants in Iceland decided that they wanted the Faroes. The Giant and the Hag were sent down to drag the Faroes north. But no matter how hard the giant dragged, the islands didn't move, and when the sun rose, they both became rocks. When you travel around in the islands, you'll see all the gorges the giant made, when he tried to drag the Faroes to Iceland.
